Amir Beltagi PT, MS, PhD
Dr. Amir Beltagi is a highly accomplished physical therapist with a diverse background in academia and clinical practice. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomechanics from Cairo University and the University of Illinois at Chicago (2022), as well as a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Cairo University (2009), Dr. Beltagi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Vitality Lab. Dr. Beltagi is a licensed physical therapist in New York, Illinois, and Egypt, with specialized experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and neuromuscular rehabilitation. He is also certified in manual therapy, kinesio-taping, and pelvic floor management, allowing him to provide comprehensive and individualized care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Passionate about advancing the field of physical therapy and improving patient outcomes, Dr. Beltagi remains dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in research and evidence-based practices. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve your overall physical function, Dr. Beltagi is dedicated to supporting your journey towards optimal health and wellness. Karim Elalfy PT, MA, EdD(c)
Dr. Karim Elalfy is a dedicated and accomplished physical therapist and educator with a strong foundation in health professions education and pathokinesiology. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Health Professions Education at Logan University in Missouri, building upon his academic foundation with a Master of Arts in Pathokinesiology from New York University’s Steinhardt School and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Cairo University. Dr. Elalfy serves as an instructor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Rush Medical College, where he has been contributing to the academic and professional development of future healthcare providers since 2021. His previous academic appointments include serving as a teaching assistant in the Gross Anatomy Lab for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. [Last Name] brings valuable clinical expertise from his experience as a physical therapist and instructor in the Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Cairo University Hospitals. He is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Illinois and maintains active membership in several leading professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Association for Anatomy (AAA), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
